PRODUCT AND PROCESS OVERVIEW
Our certification process requires blood samples, (3 or 4 drops) from each animal. Our Tenet™ certification sample cards have distinctive paper, allowing DNA extraction to be completed. We designed Tenet™ sample cards for our test and require our cards to be used..
STEP 1
ORDER
Order your Tenet™ certification sample cards below. Purchased sample cards will arrive in the US mail and include record sheets and payment forms.
STEP 2
DOCUMENT
Collect blood samples following the directions provided on each Tenet™ certification sample card. The test requires 3 or 4 drops of blood on the special paper in the sample card. Fill the circle with blood. Keep the sample clean and dry. Common problems with test samples include not enough blood to test and dirty blood samples.Fill out the form, including animal identification and payment information.
STEP 3
PAYMENT
Payments are processed at our office and the Tenet™ certification sample cards are tested at our laboratory. The sample cards and lab tests are sold separately. Order you cards on the website. Each test for tenderness certification costs $14.50.
STEP 4
RESULTS
Tenet Beef, LLC will email producers the tenderness certification results.
